Stephanie Sánchez, MSW

Bilingual Parent Educator

Stephanie Sánchez, MSW, has worked extensively for the past 14 years with vulnerable families, particularly Spanish-speaking immigrant families living below the poverty line who are struggling with homelessness, family violence, poverty, drug and alcohol abuse, school truancy, and difficult child behaviors. Certified in multiple levels of Triple P, Stephanie employs a strengths-based approach in teaching parents new strategies and skills so that they can successfully set and achieve their goals. She tailors her interventions according to each child’s, parent’s, or family’s unique situation, strengths, and needs, and she guides clients toward greater empowerment and self-sufficiency, improved relationships, and increased capacity to solve problems and overcome challenges in parenting. In addition to sharing Triple P with preschool and elementary school families throughout Sonoma County, Stephanie, who received her bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and her master’s degree in social work from California State University, Sacramento, is raising two young daughters. She uses Triple P strategies on a regular basis in her own home.
