Julie is a parent educator and How to Talk trainer, offering workshops and presentations to parents and professionals throughout the Bay Area since 1995. Her most popular workshops include How to Talk So Kids Will Listen, Siblings Without Rivalry, How to Talk So T(w)eens Will Listen, and How to Talk So Differently Wired Kids Will Listen. A graduate of Princeton University and Yale Law School, Julie holds a certificate in organization development and has completed extensive training in conflict resolution, mediation, and coaching. She is co-author with Joanna Faber of How to Talk So LITTLE Kids Will Listen: A Survival Guide to Life with Children Ages 2 – 7 (Simon & Schuster), which will be released Jan. 10, 2017. She is the mother of three.
