Gregory Lyons

Gregory Lyons has been interested in the lives and education of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities for over 15 years. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, he specializes in inclusive practices, naturalistic intervention, pivotal response treatment, applied behavior analysis, early intervention, parent education/coaching, and positive behavior support. At the University of California, San Francisco STAR Center for ASD and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, Gregory uses innovative research methods to clarify, develop, and evaluate individualized intervention models for children and adolescents with ASD and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Earning his BA and MA in psychology and education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Gregory trained with Drs. Lynn and Robert Koegel for six years. He continued his doctoral work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, working in multiple intervention research labs at the Waisman Center. Gregory has published in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented at the local, regional, and national levels.
