Jewish Single Parent Support Group and Hanukkah celebration
The Single Parents Support Group — a program of Parents Place — meets quarterly on Thursday evenings. This group is open to single mothers and fathers seeking support during (and after) separation or divorce. Parents of all faith traditions and cultural backgrounds are welcome; Jewish holidays are celebrated together. Facilitated by Diana Blank,LCSW
There is NO charge to participate in the group for parents, but pre-registration here is required.
Childcare is provided by reserving in advance only. $10 for one child/$5 for additional child by calling 650.931.1801.
Refreshments will be provided.

7:00-8:00 pm—Q&A with Karen Friedland Brown, MA, Director of Parents Place on the Peninsula
Building Resilience: Join a lively conversation about what it takes to prepare your child for the ups and downs of life. During this workshop, you'll learn the key ingredients to raising children who can bounce back from challenges and know how to forge relationships that help them keep their heads up high. We will redefine success and gain a fresh perspective on emotional and social intelligence, authenticity, and creativity in this fast-paced, high-tech society.
8:00-8:30 pm—Hanukkah party
We will also spend some time mingling/getting acquainted and celebrating Hanukkah together with typical foods and some celebratory rituals.
