CPR for Infants and Children (all ages) This three hour hands-on class will focus on the skills needed in an emergency, including CPR practice with Adult and Infant mannequins and an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). We will discuss and practice first aid skills for choking involving both conscious and unconscious adults, children and infants. Upon completion of the class, you will receive an American Heart Association Adult, Child and Infant Heartsaver CPR certification, This certification is valid for two years and can be purchased for $20 in advance, when you register here. The certificates will be mailed within two weeks of the scheduled class. This class is for parents and caregivers but does not qualify for the daycare licensing requirement. Please arrive a few minutes early as the class will begin promptly at 6 pm.. With: Susan Schmitz, RN, BSN, PHN, former cardiovascular surgical nurse. Fee: $75; $20 for certificate is optional.
