Parents Place is thrilled to announce its first annual Family Fun Day. If you live on the Peninsula and you have babies or children under five years old, you won’t want to miss this free event. Kids can bounce in the toddler fun zone, rock out to live music, sample a tasty treat, and play at one of the many children’s activity tables, sponsored by our community partners.

Parents can meet our parenting experts and pop into one of the 20-minute mini-workshops on everything from mindfulness to tantrum tips. Free childcare will be provided by Stanford Park Nannies in our play room while you attend the mini-workshops. Music Together sessions will also be offered for children and parents to attend together.

Attending Family Fun Day is a great way to meet parenting experts and child therapists who can answer questions and provide parenting support. While Parents Place offers support for families with older children and teens, Family Fun Day is focusing on the particular issues encountered by parents of babies, toddlers, and young children.

“At Parents Place, what we do is driven by our love for children,” says Karen Friedland-Brown, Director of Parents Place on the Peninsula. “We are thrilled to open our doors to the community on Family Fun Day and help make parenting a little easier for everyone who comes.”
